Miti ni Uhai.Conserving nature. Healing people. Empowering communities.
Ufanisi Conservation Group is a grassroots organization protecting the Kaya forests and Arabuko Sokoke ecosystem through indigenous knowledge, herbal medicine, and community-led forest stewardship.
Rooted in the forest, led by the community
For generations, the Kaya forests of Kilifi County have held both sacred and medicinal value for the Mijikenda communities who protect them. Ufanisi Conservation Group carries that knowledge forward — training youth, supporting women-led herbal production, and defending the forest from over-harvesting.
Every seedling planted, every treatment given, and every young person trained is part of one mission: a healthier community living in balance with a healthier forest.
